Located in the basement of a tenement house in Poznan, Poland, the Źródło.bar is a brand-new whiskey bar on one of the most popular streets in the city center. Designed by Adam Wiercinski Architekt, the once-empty space took a lot to get it to where it is today, which included plenty of cleaning. During the process, original brick walls and wooden/brick floors were discovered so they chose to preserve the charm while adding a new independent structure. Inside, they used three steel structures that hold all of the elements, like seating and lights, and didn’t require being screwed into the walls. To work with the original elements, they went with a color palette of graphite and orange. The main room called for the largest frame construction that includes seats that are connected together by a steel “bridge” with lights.
